DingZing specializes in developing and manufacturing advanced materials for international sports brands such as Nike, Adidas and Under Armour. However, it was difficult to explain the materials in the previous sales process because of the complexity of material properties and the lack of clear communications between departments.

We joined the business team to the United States to participate in the annual material exhibition hosted by NIKE, to observe the interaction between the business and customers. The biggest challenge we observed was to attract attention from customers in such a short period of time.

We tried to deliver the messages and personalities of materials, rather than just making them look prettier. It was critical to have deep understandings of them from the production process which was why we visited their factory. Also, we delivered a more interactive sales kit to encourage customers to touch and play with it for a more intuitive understanding of the materials.

The customized sales experience: tailored for each customer’s scenario

"Customization" of communication in the product sales experience is the key to keep the customer’s attention, especially in exhibitions. Based on the scenarios that we came up with, a sales flow guideline was provided with the customized tools and content.
